Role of the Public Institution in the field of healthcare for the needs of public health institutions university clinics, Institute and Emergency Centre Skopje is a quality and efficient service to the users of the services with the most rational and smooth use of the available funds and equipment.


Starting from the need for the legal, professional, efficient, rational, timely and responsible performance of the work and tasks of the Public Institution in the field of healthcare, a high standard of services is achieved by:

  • ⮚providing conditions for continuous professional development of the staff, as well as participation in all types of professional and scientific meetingss (congresses, seminars, trainings) in the country and abroad;
  • ⮚ organizing and implementing measures for constant improvement of the qualityof professional work and the quality management system in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 Standard;
  • ⮚ providing state-of-the-art equipment and devices in accordance with the economic possibilities and financial means available to the PI in the field of healthcare
  • ⮚ organizing the collection, transportation and disposal of medical waste, in accordance with the Law on Medical Waste Management;
  • professional responsibility, competence and ethics


Objectives:

  • increasing the users of the services satisfaction in the area of central sterilization, commercial-pharmaceutical works, nutrition of the sick, maintenance of free areas, organization during the collection, transport and disposal of communal and medical waste, computer-informatics works, security and protection works of property and people, drug purchases, medical material, small inventory, equipment, medical devices, etc.;
  • ⮚ continuous raising of the level of services, which will achieve fulfillment of the highest standards;
  • ⮚ continuous raising of the expertise of employees through all types of education;
  • ⮚ improvement of working conditions and equipmentof PI in the field of healthcare;


Subject and area of application

The PI quality manual in the field of healthcare provides a general policy and procedures for the implementation of services in the field of healthcare. The quality manual is the highest quality document of PI.

PI in the field of healthcare performs works of common interest.

  • - commercial-pharmaceutical works,
  • - nutrition of the sick,

  • - maintenance of free areas,

  • - works for securing and protecting property and people,
  • - the use and maintenance of the parking space,
  • - medicine purchases, medical material, small inventory, equipment, medical devices, etc.
